Just can't get enough...

So, we're walking the trails every evening now. It is truly such a relaxing place to get away to after a long day. It's hard to believe this is all in the middle of 13 neighborhoods and yet so quiet! On this particular evening, we took a different route and found a few more of the wonderful things that we have to enjoy!

Our ampitheater. There have already been several concerts
here in the last month. We hear they have a Summer Series!

We finally found our Woodlands Bandstand!

Decisions, Decisions!
Our new friend, Miss Doe.

The Courts.

A perfect place to sit and watch the games from above!

Heaven in our back yard...

Ok, so I'm embarrassed to say that John and I have been here for 3 months but are just now discovering the amazing wonders that our little, town-park community offers. I have been so badly wanting to go explore the 19 miles of hiking/biking trails that we have! So, yesterday, after John got home from work, I said, "We are going to go see what these trails are all about." Oh my, it is like a little slice of heaven right in our back yard! We loved it so much, we went back again today! I could talk about it all day long but nothing does it justice better than the pics and short videos that I took. Turn up the volume on the videos; the sound of that water is so soothing. Enjoy!

John ahead of me :)

One of many clear pools.

A doe that crossed our path on the way home.
We see them regularly around the neighborhood.

It's a neighborly day in the neighborhood...

Legacy Park is one of the Premier Residential Communities in Atlanta. Nestled in the heart of Kennesaw, Georgia, our 117-acre Townpark Community is adorned by lush landscapes, rolling hills, nature trails and streams, a sparkling lake, and surrounded by wildlife & nature preserves.

Welcome, y'all!

Well, as most of my family and friends know by now, the hubs and I have moved to Georgia. We're now living in an awesome little town named Kennesaw. I love the fact that we were able to find such a neat, small town with so much history and yet, we are just a short drive from downtown Atlanta. I think it's truly the best of both worlds! As of today, we have been here 3 months and we are both still in full sensory overload! We love it!

I have good friends that blog and they have known I wanted to blog for quite some time. I just couldn't seem to make myself sit down and do it! It does require devoted time and desire. I wonder now if I was procrastinating because I didn't think I had anything worthy to blog about. Well, I think that problem has been remedied! Everyday now, I see or experience something that I want to share with everyone and what better way to do it than to blog about it! So, with that being said, welcome to what I hope to be the first of many blog posts!!! :)
